Lander University Equestrian Team

The Lander University Equestrian Club gives students an opportunity to learn about equestrian sports.  Membership is open to all Lander students who are interested in horses and horsemanship, whether or not they have prior riding experience.

Members may ride with the Lander Team in Hunter Seat and/or Stock Seat, and may compete in Intercollegiate Horse Show Association shows throughout the year.



The team trains at Cricket Hollow Stables in Abbeville.  Harriet Morton serves as coach; Dr. Barbara Freese from the Department of Nursing serves as the faculty sponsor.
